Mojang has released a brand new Minecraft mini game, Tumble, that is now available to download as part of the latest free game update for the Console Edition.
Based upon the community favorite mini game, Spleef, Tumble has been described as:
“A frantic competitive clash in which players destroy the very floor beneath their enemies’ feet, sending them plummeting to their doom.”
Tumble will feature matches of up to eight players and will include two variants of the gameplay to choose from: one which allows you to launch snowballs at other players in hopes of knocking them to their demise, and the other allowing all players to wield shovels to speed up the gameplay. Each game will last for three rounds and take place on a series of semi-randomized maps that will all feature different layers of materials and hazards, such as TNT and slime blocks!
Alongside the free update, Mojang has revealed a brand new map pack for the Battle mini game that was released earlier in the year. The map pack can be purchased for $2.99 and will include three new maps: the colossal Caste, the incredible shipyard, and the terrifying Invasion.
The latest update is available now for PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
