Yesterday’s entry of a Director’s Cut version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution for the Wii U on Amazon was believable, and it just happens to be completely legitimate. Square Enix announced via press release today that the title would be making its way to the Wii U “soon”.
The Director’s Cut will include integration with the Wii U GamePad. Players will be able to use the GamePad to hack in-game and throw grenades, among many other neural enhancements.
Square Enix also claims this edition of the game will have refined combat, improved AI, and “striking visual improvements”. Finally, some DLC content from past editions of Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be included in the Director’s Cut release.
It’s nice to see Human Revolution get some more love, but the inclusion of additional content not found in the game’s previous release is sure to pain some butts. Wii U owners keep your eyes open for Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut on May 7.
