It’s been a wild ride for popular Sony Developer Naughty Dog. A milestone has been reached, and it is time to celebrate.
Naughty Dog is a well-known company now, but it started off as a small two-team company, JAM Studios. As the world turns and another year passes, the founders find themselves wanting to throw a party. And luckily for us, it’s not an invite-only affair. Gamers have been asked to share their experiences while prepping for the big bash in late September and continuing till early October dates.
Starting today and until our Los Angeles art show ends (12th October) we’re asking you to tweet out your favorite Naughty Dog memories as a way of celebrating our anniversary online with us. Just use #NDMemories and tell us your favorite moment from a game or a story you’d like to share with us. Post up a photo or screenshot. Make us an anniversary GIF. We’ll retweet the best memories and possibly send you something really cool.

With this idea, the company is giving us a chance to relive some of the best times we’ve had with their games. Be it from Uncharted to Jak and Daxter, fans are already trying to pick their best memory:
While some have had it quite a harder time picking just one favorite:
I’ve even found myself participating in the event, as Naughty Dog really geared me into gaming journalism by reviewing their games:
The Jak and Daxter creator will be hosting an art show to kick off their celebration on September 27 at Gallery Nucleus in CA, featuring their very own birthday cake. Then October 4 and 12, a full feature length film, which is teased in this 3 minute clip, will be shown – giving us an inside look at the rise of Naughty Dog. Film screenings will also have artist workshops from the studio and door prizes/giveaways will be available for early attendees.
Time slips by quickly, and for some, the journey isn’t always easy. But Naughty Dog has overcome a lot and given us hours of entertainment in the process. Do your part to give back to the company that’s done it all for us, the gamers. Start by wishing Naughty Dog a very happy birthday.
