The next expansion to the Pokemon XY series is hitting shelves in May.

The next expansion in the Pokémon TCG: XY series will arrive on May 2nd. Called “Fates Collide,” it is the eleventh main expansion of the XY series.

The expansion will be centred around Psi Pokémon Alakazam, particularly his EX and Mega EX evolutions. Players will get over 120 new cards, 5 new Pokémon BREAK, and 13 new Pokémon-EX cards which will include 3 new Megas.

Also being introduced is Zygarde, the dual Dragon / Ground-type Legendary, and its multiple forms such as the great dog-type (shown below) and its tougher EX form.

Lugia BREAK, Mega Altaria-EX, and Umbreon-EX will also be included in the expansion but stats, abilities, and illustrations have yet to be released. Judging by the cards we’ve seen, they are guaranteed to look brilliant, with stats to match!
