Watch Dogs Guide: City Hotspot Locations

Here's your Watch Dogs guide to the City Hotspot locations and how to become a Mayor.
This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

In Watch Dogs there are 100 City Hotspots throughout the game’s 6 city districts which are part of known Collectibles. Here’s your list to the districts and each Hotspot within them.

These Hotspots are identified with a square sign/plaque that look like a check-mark either on the ground or on the side of a building. They are found near Chicago’s most memorable landmarks and locations.

The hotspots allow access to history and information of the city, the ability to leave gifts for other players, and the ability to become Mayor of a specific location.

Each of the locations can be located in your game map and will identified with a check-mark.

Becoming a Mayor requires that you visit a specific location more times than anyone else over a 7-day period. You can use the specific app in your game’s ctOS to see where your friends are Mayors at and try to beat their visits. Once attained, you’ll unlocked unique badges besides pride. Note: You won’t be able to check-in, exit, and then instantly check-in again. There is a small time delay between check-ins.
