For some survivors, the story of HELL-A doesn’t end with the main campaign, thanks to the Dead Island 2 expansion pass. However, not everyone has access to the pass just yet, and even those that have purchased it will have to wait for the items, missions, and other gruesome goodies it brings to the game. So how much does it cost, how can you get it if you don’t already have it, and what’s in the expansion pass?

How Much Does the Dead Island 2 Expansion Pass Cost? 

Currently, we don’t have the exact price for the Dead Island 2 expansion pass because it’s bundled with the Gold Edition of the game.

The difficulty in figuring out the price of the content is that the Expansion Pass isn’t sold separately, and the price of the Gold Edition varies by platform.

• PC: Gold Edition is $79.99
• Xbox: Gold Edition is $89.99
• PlayStation: Gold Edition is $89.99

The base edition of Dead Island 2 retails for $59.99 and $69.99. Given this pattern, we can assume that if the Expansion Pass is made available for purchase separate from the Gold Edition, it could cost up to $20.

How to Get the Dead Island 2 Expansion Pass

The Expansion Pass is only available as part of the Dead Island 2 Gold Edition for the time being. However, we can assume that the Expansion Pass will be made available separately before the expansion is released or at the time of the expansion’s release.

Otherwise, having multiple editions of the game available in the first place would be pretty unnecessary.
