Disney Dreamlight Valley released its third major update, Festival of Friendship, on February 16, 2023. With all significant updates, in-game bugs are potential side effects, and the Festival of Friendship is no different.
The developers at Gameloft have been keeping track of glitches and listening to community feedback through their help center forum and the game’s discord. The newest update will improve questlines and bring features that the community has been asking for. The update was announced via the Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter account:

The issues addressed include:
- Quests will no longer block critter feeding.
- Dandelion Syrup will be granted in the What Home Feels Like quest.
- Stitch’s Hobby quest will ensure progression past the cave.
- The main chest can be placed outside of player’s homes.
Gameloft stated that it will reveal more bug fixes early next week. With the current playerbase supporting the game’s Early Access, it’s refreshing to see that the devs are listening to the community.
