Atlus Teases New Bundle of Joy

Atlus releases a teaser site for a game that's still in gestation
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Today just seems to be the day for obscure Japanese game teasers. There was a minor scare earlier this year when the parent company of Atlus filed bankruptcy, leaving the future of the legendary developer in question. Sega saved the day by purchasing the company, and it looks like they have another little bundle of joy on the way.

This new teaser site just went up today with what appears to be an ultrasound. In the upper left, you see Atlus Center For New Releases, and under that Women’s Health. The theme of the site does somewhat play into the theme of Atlus’ medical series Trauma Center, and that is a series I could see actually utilizing the WiiU in interesting ways–like ultrasounds and X-rays.

Still, deep down in my heart (since I lack a uterus), I’m hoping this will lead to a Persona 5 reveal. We know the game has been in the works since the Persona team finished CatherinePersona 4 was also the last great game of the PS2 generation… so what better game to end this gen on?

So what do you guys think this could be? Is there an Atlus title already about Women’s Health? Why does an ultrasound have stats like “persist” and “gold”? Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
