Rage 2 is set to release on May 14 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. While chances are high that most PC gamers have a rig that can well-handle Rage 2, we outline the game’s minimum and maximum PC requirements below.
From the information Bethesda has released, Rage 2‘s PC specs aren’t that surprising. Recently-released shooters like Far Cry New Dawn and Metro Exodus required similar setups to play. Keep in mind that “recommended” settings typically refer to 1080p at 60fps, although Bethesda has not yet specifically revealed requirements for 2K or 4K.
Like Metro Exodus, it’s possible that those resolutions will demand GPUs commensurate to NVIDIA’s latest 2000 series and CPUs equivalent to a high-end Intel I9 processor.

Alongside Rage 2‘s minimum and recommended PC requirements, Bethesda also confirmed that the game will support widescreen and ultra-widescreen monitors.
The original Rage released in 2010 to middling reviews. However, in the nine years since that game’s release, Bethesda, id Software, and Avalanche Studios have worked to fix some of the original’s more grating issues.
Earlier this year, we were able to get our hands on the game, and we had a great time.
