Jurassic World Evolution 2 Complete Dinosaur List: All Dinosaurs in JWE 2

Here's every dinosaur in Jurassic World Evolution 2, including flying dinosaurs and aquatic species!

How many dinosaurs are there in Jurassic World Evolution 2? There are 88 total dinosaurs that you can synthesize, incubate, and hatch depending on which version of the game you pick up. The base game contains 79, while the Deluxe Edition adds five and the Early Cretaceous DLC adds four to bring the number of genomes to that whopping total. And if you’re looking for a list of all of the dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 2, you’ve come to the right place.

The original Jurassic World Evolution has only 37 dinosaurs in the base game, adding another 40 through DLCs and expansions. The sequel gives you access to many of those without having to upgrade to another version or spend any extra money at all — and it even adds flying and aquatic dinosaur species too, which require their own enclosures in the Aviary and Lagoon.

The only thing you’ll have to do is unlock the dinosaurs in JWE 2 itself, which can be quite a demanding process, as among other things, you’ll have to play through all of the game’s various modes, including the Campaign, Challenge mode, and Chaos Theory. We’ve written a more in-depth guide telling you how to get more dinos here.

The Deluxe Edition dinosaurs have an asterisk next to their names, while those from the Early Cretaceous pack are bolded and underlined in the full species lists below.
