Joining a roster of 15 confirmed combatants, this will be the first time both characters have appeared together since 2014’s Soul Calibur: Unbreakable Soul, which was released for iOS devices.

Skipping 2012’s Soul Calibur 5, Seong Mi-na will make her return to the mainline series brandishing her familiar naginata and fast-paced combat style. Astaroth will, of course, return, but this time in his original form as Soul Calibur 6 has been confirmed to take place within the events between Soul Calibur and Soul Calibur 3.

Since the game was unveiled at The Game Awards late last year, Bandai Namco has revealed 17 warriors for Soul Calibur 6. Here is a complete list:

  • Maxi
  • Talim
  • Taki
  • Voldo
  • Kilik
  • Ivy
  • Sophitia
  • Mitsurugi
  • Nightmare
  • Siegfried
  • Yoshimitsu
  • Chai Xianghua
  • Zasalamel
  • Groh
  • Geralt of Rivia
  • Astaroth
  • Seong Mi-na

Keep in mind, these are not all of the combatants that will feature in Soul Calibur 6. According to Bandai Namco, four additional characters will appear as DLC after the game’s official release. Although there is not a confirmed release date for that post-launch DLC, the developer has confirmed that one of the characters will be exclusive to the game’s season pass.
