The first snapshot of 1.20 update is now available to all Minecraft players. This version adds a new cherry grove biome and sniffer mob that is currently available only through hatching.
In order to launch the 1.20 update in your Minecraft client, you need to follow these steps:
- Launch the game and press "Start".
- Enter your seed into the seed box.
- Select "Experimental" feature.
- Toggle on the 1.20 update option.

The best way to experience a brand new biome in Minecraft, especially the one as beautiful as cherry grove, is to set a base right inside of it.
If you travel to coordinates 200, 900, you will find a village that has its houses settled right amongst the cherry blossom trees, and there's plenty of them.

Here is a truly rare phenomenon: a village with two blacksmiths. It's not too far either from spawn, and you can find it at coordinates 300, 350.
One of the blacksmiths is located on the bottom of the pit, which protects it from all sorts of mobs that may be lurking on the surface at night.

If you enjoy a rich variety of biomes with unusual village structures and exposed terrain, then this seed will be right up your ally.
The village at coordinates 150, 50 has an exposed shipwreck and has access to lush caves opening right beside it. The rest of the terrain consists of badlands, jungle, forest, desert, and other biomes.

If you're looking for an access to both cherry blossom trees and nether realm, then here is a seed that satisfies both of those needs.
You will find a village at coordinates -400, -500 that has an exposed ruined portal and a vast cherry grove right behind it.

Very rarely do underground structures, such as zombie dungeons, spawn on the surface.
You can witness one such exposed dungeon right under the desert village that stands at coordinates 550, 150. It's not only a source of quick loot, but also a mob farming facility.

Why raid a single ancient city, when you can raid two ancient cities at the same location?
This seed will bring you to a very rare spot at coordinates -500, 500 where two ancient cities meet and merge. This gives you double the loot, but also double the wardens.

If you don't mind walking a bit, then at coordinates 800, 50 you will encounter a massive cherry grove with a village that stands right in the ravine.
There is another village nearby at coordinates 800, -350, and all that area is also covered with gorgeous pink cherry blossom trees.

Double village at spawn with blacksmith, but one is a zombie village!
This means that you should be very much careful at night, and it's good that you have a quick access to blacksmith to prepare beforehand. This will be quite a challenge!

Digging is hard, but not when an entire mountain is completely exposing the giant dripstone caves biome, which you can see at coordinates 400, 50.
This is probably the easiest and safest way of getting all that dripstone in Minecraft, without getting into trouble with all those pesky underground mobs.

Not everybody may enjoy huge cherry groves, you might just want a small cluster of them.
This seed will spawn you right next to a double village with a few spare cherry trees around. Also, be sure to dig around for some surface level dungeons.

Here is another set of two villages near spawn, but one is located on the snowy biome, while the other one has blacksmith.

You will spawn on an ocean shore that is completely frozen, and thus easy to traverse on foot.
At coordinates -300, -400 you will encounter a cool little iceberg village that has some of its huts literally positioned inside the icebergs. This could be a really cool scenario for one of your survival games.

Spawn right in the middle of a large cherry grove that is surrounded by three villages that stand at the following coordinates:
- 150, -300
- -350, -200
- 50, 250
Fun fact is that under each of those three villages there is an ancient city, so be sure to dig up a lot of chiseled deepslate.

At times, Minecraft may reveal the most surprising underground landscapes in the overworld.
If you go to coordinates 250, 600, you will encounter a broken mountain on the ocean shore covered with coral reefs that exposes huge lush caves that consists of several more layers inside.

Sometimes villages can either spawn in the ravines or lead the way to exposed underground structures, such as abandoned mineshafts.
Once you spawn on the cliff side, travel to coordinates -400, 350 for a village near one of the ravines that leads right into an exposed mineshaft beneath.

Village with exposed ruined portal and shipwreck at spawn!
Such an unusual combination of structures can be rarely seen unless you manage to spawn on the ocean shore.
The exposed ruined portal is almost complete and will require you only a few obsidian blocks to activate, too.

One of the far away ancient cities of this seed that stands at coordinates -1850, -1000 has a very unique structure within.
You'll find a large exposed ruined portal that literally hangs off the ceiling of the ancient city right next to the warden's portal.

If you like the concept of having two villages at spawn, one of which is a zombie village, then here is another seed that gives you both at spawn.
The best part about this seed is that some of the huts spawn in the ravine that separates the two villages.

You will spawn on the southern shore of a large ocean biome with a village standing in the triangle of biomes at coordinates 750, 1450.
There are also two desert temples nearby with eight treasure chests at coordinates 650, 1700 and 1050, 1550.

At coordinates 500, 450 you will find a woodland mansion that stands in the middle of the swampland, which is surrounded by the quadruple witch huts.
This very rare and unusual structure combination can be typically found many thousands of blocks away from spawn, but not this close.
