There are over 700 cars to collect in Top Drives, so it’s no wonder that some people wonder about which ones are the best. Is it all about the speed? Is the Bugatti Veyron really worth it? Which car is the best at Drag Races? Well, you have plenty to choose from!
In this guide, we want to give you the lowdown on some of the great cars you can find in the game and which kind of events they are best at. These picks will predominantly be super rare quality cars, as that’s obviously the most prestigious type. But there will be cars from the other higher rarity bands, too. No matter what your play style or preferred track, there are cars from over 25 different manufacturers to suit your needs!
The Best Speed Cars in Top Drives
Audi R8 Coupé V10 plus
With an acceleration rate of 0-60 MPH in 3.1 seconds, it’s clear that the Audi R8 Coupé V10 is perfect for the 0-100 MPH races. It doesn’t have the best grip of the top spec Audis, but it certainly has the top speed!
Pagani Zonda 760RS
Like the Audi, the Zonda goes from 0-60 MPH in 3.1 seconds. But it has a higher top speed for you to max out at as you race. With that in mind, it’s hard to say whether this car would be better suited to the 0-100 MPH race or a 100km drag race!
Caterham RS Levante
There are a number of cars that are faster than the Levante at top speed, but few (if any) can beat its insane acceleration rate. With the ability to go from 0-60 MPH in just 2.9 seconds, you’ll be leaving your opponents in the dust the moment you leave the starting line.
Best Grip Cars in Top Drives
Chevrolet Corvette Z06
This pretty car might not win races when it’s pitted against some upper-tier cars in a speed match, but it’s got something else to offer. With an 89 grip rating (out of 100), this Corvette model is a surefire bet for G-Force events!
McLaren P1
With a top speed of 217, this is a pretty fast car. At speeds like that, you’ll need a fair amount of grip. Otherwise you’ll just fly off the track when you go around a tight corner. You obviously don’t want to do too much cornering in this McLaren — but when you do, that 95 grip rating will be a huge boon.
Volvo 850 BTCC
This lovely car from Sweden doesn’t have a high top speed like the rest of these grippy cars, but this one should be a top pick when you’re trying to win those twisty circuit races. The 95 grip rating will help you stay on course — and we all know that slow and steady often wins the race!
Best Off-Roaders in Top Drives
Hummer H3T
You basically can’t talk about off-roading vehicles without mentioning Hummers. While these cars are very rare in game, you’ll be happy to have it once you’ve found one. They’re great for pretty much any dirt and sand track out there!
Audi Sport Quattro S1
This off-roader is pretty quick compared to some of the others in its class. It’s also one of the most recognized rally cars in the world. With a nice balance of quick acceleration, decent grip, and 4WD, this is an all-around great pick for fast-pased off-roading.
Mercedes-AMG G 63 6×6
Forget 4x4s — this 6×6 is where it’s at. You probably won’t win very many street races with this car’s stats, but it’s still a fantastic choice for your lineup if you’re looking for some serious off-road action.
As there is very little actual racing in Top Drives, you don’t really need to worry too much about your coordination and performance when it comes to winning. The main thing you need to focus on are the cars themselves — how fast they are, how well they grip, and how they cope with off-road conditions or rainy weather.
With these cars in your arsenal, there aren’t many races that you’ll lose. Bear in mind, though, that this is just a handful of the top-tier cars in Top Drives. I’m sure you will find your own favorites as your racing career progresses.
