The best cars in Forza Horizon 5 don’t necessarily have to be entirely focused on speed. It’s the balance of speed, acceleration, handling, and braking that makes any car truly great. This guide will list all the best cars in Forza Horizon 5 with all these parameters in mind.
Obviously, most of these cars are super expensive and some cannot simply be purchased from the Autoshow. Among over 500 cars in the Forza Horizon 5 roster, the models listed below can be confidently called the champion cars, as they have exactly what it takes to win every race.
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Forza Edition
- Type: Extreme Track Toy
- Price: 2,750,000 CR
Sesto Elemento is not only one of the fastest cars in the game, it is also one of the most lighweight, which makes it perfect for track racing. It can reach 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, which is unbelievably fast acceleration.
Currently, there are two versions of Lamborghini Sesto Elemento in Forza Horizon 5, but the Forza Edition is a superior one. Although you can’t buy it in the autoshop like the regular model, you can win it through Wheelspin and Auction House.
BMW X5 M Forza Edition
- Type: Extreme Track Toy
- Price: 500,000 CR
The Forza Edition of BMW X5 M is very different from the regular version of the car. This iteration is much better and has an extremely high performance both on highway and offroad.
This one is available only to the owners of the VIP Membership DLC pack, and it’s not a surprise that this pack includes one of the most pushed cars in the entire game.
Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK GTR Forza Edition
- Type: Extreme Track Toy
- Price: 2,250,000 CR
This supercar is another Forza Edition phenomenon that will take you to the brink of the speed limits in Forza Horizon 5. Both acceleration and speed, as well as handling and braking are unsurpassed in AMG CLK GTR.
Veteran Forza players will instantly recognize this model, as it has been the mainstay of the series throughout many years. However, this new version of the car is even better. Just don’t look for it on Autoshows, as it’s available only through Wheelspin prizes and Auction House bids.
Pagani Huayra BC Forza Edition
- Type: Extreme Track Toy
- Price: 2,700,000 CR
The Forza Edition of Pagani Huayra BC is probably the only other car in the same class as AMG CLK GTR.
If we compare these two, then Pagani will have a slightly higher speed, while Mercedes-Benz will have a better acceleration overall.
In case you can’t get the Forza Edition of this car from Wheelspin, then you can purchase the regular version of Huayra BC from the Forzathon shop.
Apollo Intensa Emozione “Welcome Pack”
- Type: Extreme Track Toy
- Price: 1,500,000 CR
If you like the sleek design of Apollo cars, then Intensa Emozione should definitely be on your radar. Although the original version of the car is quite powerful, it is recommended to get the “Welcome Pack” DLC version, as it has better speed and acceleration.
Just like Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, this car can reach 100 km/h in mere 2.5 seconds. It’s no surprise, as the vehicle is based on the Ferrari V12 6.3 litre engine, which is a real beast.
Koenigsegg One:1
- Type: Hypercar
- Price: 2,800,000 CR
Koenigsegg is a car for anyone who wants to perform exceptionally well on straight-line races. It may not have the highest acceleration, but it boasts with the top speed of 442 km/h and some of the best braking and handling in the game.
It has a Formula One chassis made of carbon fibre, active suspension, and ride height control. Also, it is available for purchase via Autoshow that makes it so much easier to get than the other cars on this list.
RAESR Tachyon Speed
- Type: Hypercar
- Price: 1,050,000 CR
Here is one of the newcomers that may surprise many players with its highly affordable price. The reason is that this car cannot be bought anywhere else except through Forzathon shop, or won at Wheelspin and Auction House.
RAESR is a protoype car, powered by six electric engines, that has a tremendously futuristic design, which was inspired by jet fighters, and its performance fully accords with that choice.
Koenigsegg Agera RS
- Type: Hypercar
- Price: 2,000,000 CR
Agera RS is a new offering from the Koenigsegg manufacturer. It has a slightly higher speed than the One:1 model, and it is an excellent choice for Speed Trap PR Stunts or any fast racing track in general.
It shares another essential element with the One:1 model, and that is the V8 Twin Turbo 5 litre engine that was upgraded specifically for the Agera version. You can buy this car on the Autoshow just like most other Koenigsegg vehicles.
Ferrari FXX K
- Type: Extreme Track Toy
- Price: 2,700,000 CR
Now here’s a car that has something different to offer than just extremely high speed. This Ferrari model is designed in mind with the best steering and handling possible in a super fast vehicle.
FXX K will perform the best on challenging tracks with lots of twists and turns, which also require high speed. It won’t do too well on straight racing tracks, but any other complicated highway is this car’s best friend.
Ferrari F50 GT
- Type: Extreme Track Toy
- Price: 2,000,000 CR
This must be the most famous Ferrari car ever, and it is still one of the best cars you can get in the Forza Horizon series due to its incredibly powerful Racing V12 engine.
Just like FXX K, it may not have the highest speed in the game, but the handling is top notch, as well as highly efficient braking that simply outclasses most other cars in the same category.
Rimac Concept Two
- Type: Hypercar
- Price: 2,000,000 CR
Rimac is the second electric car on our list, but this time it is supported by four engines instead of six, as it was the case with RAESR Tachyon Speed. Nonetheless, it doesn’t impair its performance. Rimac has a higher speed and acceleration than RAESR.
The only disadvantage is the handling, which does suffer due to heavier weight. RAESR model has 1451 kg weight, while Rimac has a whopping 1950 kg and this does make it a little bit clumsier on the road.
Maserati MC12 Versione Corsa
- Type: Extreme Track Toy
- Price: 2,500,000 CR
Maserati MC12 can be put in the same row as Ferrari FXX K. Not only do they share the same base model of Ferrari Enzo Ferrari, but also the same V12 6 litre engine.
This means that both of these models are practically the same except the price. So if you are looking for a Ferrari supercar that is a tad cheaper, then look no further than Maserati Corsa.
Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020
- Type: Extreme Track Toy
- Price: 300,000 CR
Lastly, here is a car for all those who are looking for a solid racing performer in the beginning of the game when you don’t have as much money for the higher league vehicles.
Ultima is a perfect choice, as it is first and foremost extremely cheap for a racing supercar, and second, performance-wise this car can be compared to other high performing racing vehicles on this list.
With the top speed of 393 km/h and decent acceleration, this car can get you to the finishing line faster than any other vehicle in the same price range.
