Minecraft Earth is finally rolling out in Early Access across multiple regions, and we here in North America (both the U.S. and Canada) are lucky enough to be in the latest wave. Luckily, there’s no question about how to get Minecraft Earth: you can just download it.

North American territories aren’t the only ones currently with access to Minecraft Earth‘s Early Access. Minecraft fans in the following countries can hop onto their mobile market of choice and download the game to give it a whirl:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • Iceland
  • Mexico
  • New Zealand
  • Philippines
  • South Korea
  • Sweden
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

That’s right: if you live in any of these countries, you can play the game right now.

How to Get Minecraft Earth

Users on both iOS and Android can get in on the augmented reality-building action as long as they are within the countries where Early Access is currently open.

Minecraft Earth on iOS

If you’re using an iOS device, just hop on over to iTunes and download the game.

Minecraft Earth on Android

If you’re using Android, just shuffle over to Google Play and download the game.

Really, there are no extra steps. It’s just a tap and download in regions where Early Access is currently available.

Can’t Download Minecraft Earth Despite Being in an Applicable Region?

It’s always disappointing when you go to download a mobile game and find that it says the game is not available for your region or not compatible with your device. Unfortunately, those with low-end phones are going to run into this with Minecraft Earth.

Minecraft Earth requires ARCore, a set of APIs needed to run some augmented reality (AR) games. This is one of those games.

If Google Play is telling you that the game is not available in your region despite being in one of the countries listed above, chances are your device is not compatible with ARCore.

Most modern Android devices are compatible with ARCore, but if you are somehow unable to download the game with yours, you’re out of luck. The only solution to this is to get a newer model phone.

Minecraft Earth will be rolling out in further countries over the coming weeks, though which ones those are have yet to be announced. We’re starting to rev up guides on this bad boy, so keep your eye on GameSkinny for further Minecraft Earth guides and news.
