Nintendo Tours America this Holiday Season

Nintendo brings Wii U and 3DS plus playable titles to malls across the United States this holiday season.

Nintendo will begin touring the country next Monday, November 25th, to visit holiday shoppers in numerous shopping malls. Shoppers in key locations will be able to get their hands on the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS and test out various titles for the two platforms. This national tour is partnered with Norwegian Cruise Lines and PBteen.

The Wii U is Nintendo’s flagship console featuring a controller with its own screen to play games off the TV. The tour will feature these games for demo:

  • Super Mario 3D World
  • The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
  • Wii Fit U
  • Wii Party U
  • Wii Sports Club
  • The Wonderful 101
  • Pikmin 3
  • Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games
  • Sonic Lost World (Sega)
  • Disney Infinity (Disney Interactive)
  • Batman: Arkham Origins (Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment)
  • Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist (Ubisoft)
  • Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag (Ubisoft)
  • Just Dance 2014 (Ubisoft)
  • Rayman Legends (Ubisoft)

Nintendo’s handheld device, the 3DS, will also have an impressive selection of titles to test as well. These titles include:

  • Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
  • Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon
  • Super Mario 3D Land
  • Donkey Kong Returns 3D
  • Mario & Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

  • Pokémon X
  • Pokémon Y
  • Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure (Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment)

This nice selection of playable titles will be seen at 23 locations in the United States between November 25, 2013 until December 22, 2013. The stops on the tour are:

  • Mall of America – Bloomington, Minnesota
  • Memorial City Mall – Houston, Texas
  • Natick Mall – Natick, Massachusetts
  • Northbrook Court – Northbrook, Illinois
  • Queens Center – Elmhurst, New York
  • Sugarloaf Mills – Lawrenceville, Georgia
  • The Fashion Centre – Pentagon City, Arlington, Virginia
  • The Florida Mall – Orlando, Florida
  • The Shops at Willow Bend – Plano, Texas
  • Washington Square – Portland, Oregon
  • Westfield Annapolis – Annapolis, Maryland
  • Westfield Culver City – Culver City, California
  • Westfield Southcenter – Seattle, Washington
  • Westfield Santa Anita – Arcadia, California

Some locations will even have special characters visiting in case shoppers want a photo opportunity. Mario and Luigi, along with Pikachu, will be visiting various locations.
