There are almost 90 weapons in Remnant 2 between its Long Guns, Handguns, and melee weapons. The best of them are often tied to bosses and sometimes to secrets surrounding those bosses. The Godsplitter melee weapon and Deceit Long Gun are just two of the bevy of options available to you. While getting them isn’t as involved as other equipment, you’ll still have to work for them. In this guide, I’ll cover how to get Godsplitter and Deceipt in Remnant 2.
How to Get Godsplitter and Deceit Weapons in Remnant 2
The Remnant 2 Godsplitter and Deceipt weapons are rewards from the Losomn boss fights against Faerin and Faelin, respectively. However, because Faelin and Faerin are two sides of the same coin (Beatific Palace and Malefic Palace), and both want you to kill the other, you’ll be locked out of both rewards on a single run of the world.
- To get the Godsplitter and Deceit weapons in Remnant 2, you must run Losomn twice. I was lucky enough to get the world on my campaign playthrough, but if you didn’t, I’d recommend running two Adventures until you can fight the two bosses. Or, get one in your campaign and one in Adventure.
Once Faelin lies dead, you’ll get the Imposter’s Heart crafting material. Faerin awards the Melded Hilt item. Take them to McCabe back at Ward 13 to craft the weapons.

God Splitter Stats
- Damage: 38
- Critical Hit Chance: 2%
- Weak Spot Damage: +50%
- Stagger Modifier: -20%
The Godsplitter melee weapon only boasts 38 attack but swings fast and is best used in team play. Every hit activates its unique mod, called Fracture, which causes enemies to only take Weak Spot damage for two seconds. If you’re running a tank build with lots of melee perks (like the Challenger Archetype) or are just in the enemy’s face more often than not, you can ensure the rest of your squad is always doing optimal damage for their build.
Deceit Stats
- Damage: 120
- RPS: 2
- Magazine: 6
- Accuracy: Nearly 100%
- Ideal Range: 28m
- Falloff Range: 75m
- Max Ammo: 30
- Critical Hit Chance: 15%
- Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +90%
- Stagger Modifier: 5%
The Deceit Long Gun has a base attack power of 120 and fires two railgun shots per unit of ammo used. Its unique mod, called Ouroboros, summons three swords for 30 seconds you can send out at enemies using a melee attack. Any target marked by a sword takes guaranteed Weak Spot damage.
While you can use swords individually, using a charged melee sends out every sword you have remaining, hitting multiple enemies and creating additional Weak Spots. It’s fantastic for clearing mobs either in the overworld or during boss fights, and if you can ration your swords, you can keep a boss vulnerable for the full 30 seconds.
And that’s pretty much all you need to know about how to get the Godsplitter and Deceipt weapons in Remnant 2. It’s pretty straightforward, though depending on your luck rerolling adventures, it might take a few hours to get done. In my experience, if you know roughly where you’re going and what to do, you can rush a Remnant 2 world in about a half-hour or so.
