Starfield is the latest project to come from Bethesda. A massive space game with exploration, combat, quests, and more, it’s set to keep players glued to their seats for hours on end. Just how big is the game when it comes to exploring? In this guide we will go over how many planets will there be in Starfield.
How Many Planets are There in Starfield? Answered
In 2022 during the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, Game Director Todd Howard confirmed there will be over 1,000 explorable planets in Starfield. The caveat is that not all of those planets will have life. Roughly 10%, or 100 planets, will contain unique flora and fauna for you to discover and interact with. Planets are procedurally generated, with some being made up of a single biome type, while others may have multiple biomes.
One hundred planets is a whole lot to explore, especially when adding populated moons and space stations to the mix. Not only that, but any discoveries you make will pay you in cold, hard credits. If you’re worried about the game having enough content, there’s certainly plenty of space surveying to do.
