The Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Treating Symptoms gig yields an iconic weapon early on. The mission itself entails infiltrating a facility and finding a gangster and a netrunner. Our guide discusses the objectives, as well as how to get the Ogou iconic weapon.
How to Complete Treating Symptoms in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
You can complete Treating Symptoms in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty by finding Miko Alexis. Here’s a quick summary:
- This gig becomes available halfway through the Lucretia My Reflection side quest, which is when you’ll exit your Dogtown hideout. It’s one of a select few that you can complete for Mr. Hands early in the expansion’s campaign.
- The initial goal is to enter the Voodoo Boys stronghold. You’ll also battle a bunch of robots.
- Eventually, you’ll come across Miko Alexis, but you also need to deal with a netrunner named Alan Noel.
Clearing the Voodoo Boys Base
The Voodoo Boys’ base is an annex of the Biotechnica building in the northeastern portion of Dogtown. As soon as you arrive, several hostile gangsters will shoot you. Handle them as you see fit and proceed deeper into the facility.
On the second floor, you’ll encounter a supplier who’s being threatened by one of the thugs. This is purely optional, but I suggest talking to him in any case. You can either pay him 500 credits to give you more info about Miko Alexis’ location, or you can punch him in the face.
How to Get the Ogou Iconic Weapon
The next room is a control chamber, which is also where you can acquire the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Ogou iconic weapon. Upon entering, the Robot R Mk2 will activate, along with its other cohorts. I advise using strong firearms here, such as the Ba Xing Chong, for massive AoE damage. I also suggest casting your quickhack abilities as you run around the room.
Once the Robot R Mk2 has been defeated, you can pick up the Ogou iconic weapon. This smart pistol fires explosive rounds and has a higher chance of dismembering the limbs of opponents.

Should You Let Alan Finish His Op or Kill Him
Past the boss’ chamber, you’ll stumble upon Miko Alexis, who’s all but dead. A netrunner, Alan Noel, seems to have plans for him. You’re presented with a decision on how you’ll conclude the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Treating Symptoms gig:
- “Fine, finish your op.” – Allows you to spare Alan.
- “I’m here to protect my client.” – You’ll have to kill Alan.
After making your decision, exit the facility via the sewers so Mr. Hands can learn of the job you did. In my case, I opted to let Alan finish his task. This was actually the ideal option since, much later in the game, he’ll contact you about his findings. This leads to a short quest called Corpo of the Month. If you return to the sewer exit, you’ll find his stash. I was able to pick up a Netrunner XP skill shard and a Suicide quickhack equipment from this container.
That’s it: that’s everything you need to know about how to complete Treating Symptoms in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Don’t forget to do all the gigs for Mr. Hands to get the Sport R-7 Sterling vehicle. For other tips and strategies, you can check out our PL guides hub.
