Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Get Crimson Mischief

Among the 13 Legendary Weapons is Crimson Mischief, a shortsword with unique benefits for off-hand and main hand. While you can’t get it until Act 3, it’s worth grabbing before the final battle so you can deal out as much damage as possible. Here’s how to get Crimson Mischief in Baldur’s Gate 3.

How to Get Crimson Mischief in Baldur’s Gate 3

Crimson Mischief deals an extra 7 Piercing Damage against targets you have Advantage against as a main hand. As an off-hand, you add your Ability Modifier to the damage roll.

Find the Murder Tribunal

Before anything else, you need to go to the Murder Tribunal and get the Amulet of Bhaal. You find it in a passage behind a bookcase in Candulhallow’s Tombstones. Across from the bookcase in the far room is a painting. Remove the painting and press the button behind it to move the bookcase. Enter the passage and deal with Saverok and the Tribunal to receive the amulet.

Enter the Temple of Bhaal

Next, head to the Temple of Bhaal’s entrance, which I’ve circled on the map below for your convenience. Show the amulet to the door to enter, but ready yourself for a fight because your trial starts as soon as you enter. Cultists attack you as you make your way to the center of the temple, where you fight Orin. If you’re the Dark Urge, the fight with her is a duel, and you don’t have to deal with the cultists at all. But they join the fight if you get any help from your party members, buffing Orin constantly.

If you aren’t the Dark Urge, use attacks with multiple hits like Magic Missiles to eliminate Orin’s Unstoppable stacks. Then, burn her down within two turns. After that, clean up the cultists for the easiest battle experience. Finally, loot Orin to get both of her Legendary Weapons.
