Indie studio Singularity 6 has announced its cozy, life simulation game Palia will be heading to the Epic Games Store. Releasing on October 24, the game will be fully updated with all patches and new features since launching into open beta. A server for Western Europe is also planned to go live at the same time to provide a better experience for players.
Palia is a multiplayer game built on community and coziness. There are two temples available to explore as part of the main storyline. In addition, there are multiple friendship quests, skills to rank up, weekly challenges, and romance. Epic Games players will join in time for seasonal items, such as the Spooky Pumpkin, available from the pumpkin merchant. The newly available obstacle course is perfect for those wanting a challenge, or you can relax while fishing.
Along with features already in the game, new content has been steadily coming. The temple storyline, referred to as the prologue of Palia, has two more temples to go before being complete. The world will expand to include more Adventure Zones as well as new villagers to get to know.
While the Epic Games Store inclusion is exciting, that’s not the only news we have. Even though there’s still no official release date for Palia on the Nintendo Switch aside from later this year, if you’re interested in the game, you can finally favorite it in the eShop. Since there are only a few months left of 2023, it’s safe to say that the specific date of release should be announced soon.
Palia can be added to your wishlist through Epic before releasing near the end of October. You’ll get a notice that it’s available to play once it’s live in the system. Until then, check out our coverage of all things Palian with our guides hub.
