Cyberpunk 2077: Best Cyberdecks in 2.0 (Phantom Liberty)

There are plenty of great cyberdeck options in Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty. Here are the best of them.

The right cyberdeck makes all the difference if you’re building a netrunner in Cyberpunk 2077, and there are some great options for any number of possibilities. From general-purpose decks to one that can draw on the Blackwall itself, you can do some funky stuff. We’ll be going over all the best cyberdecks in Cyberpunk 2077 in this guide, discussing their situations of use, niche, and effectiveness when you build around them.

The Best Cyberdecks in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

To start, we’re only going to be talking about Tier 5 Cyberdecks, as anything below that won’t have the capabilities or perks to take on the toughest challenges in Cyberpunk 2077. You gain access to Tier 5 items, both out in the world and at vendors around level 35. Bear in mind that most of these decks have lower-rarity versions you can use, as well.

Best Cyberdeck for Spread Damage: Raven Microcyber MK.3

This Cyberdeck is one the deadliest in the game, at least on a macro level, as it massively increases the spread of quickhacks with that ability — to the tune of a 40% buff when purchased from a ripperdoc. Better still, every enemy in range of a spreading quickhack is immediately affected rather than the first target needing to die to initiate spread. When you use Overclock, there’s even a chance for additional spread should enemies outside the initial radius come near an affected ally.

The Raven’s stats are solid as well, costing just 20 cyberware points and granting nine RAM slots and eight quickhack slots, as well as eight mod slots. The one caveat here is that the Raven Microcyber doesn’t provide any bonuses to any of your other combat abilities and relies exclusively on spread damage. That doesn’t mean you can’t use abilities and weapons that benefit from other skill trees, but they won’t benefit from the deck, in this case.

Best Cyberdeck for General Purpose: Biotech Sigma MK.3

You’ll need some damage-over-time quickhacks to make the most of this Cyberdeck, but its benefits extend beyond the hacks themselves. The first of two decks to provide Monowire bonuses, the Biotech Sigma combines a 15% duration bonus to Combat quickhacks with a 10% buff to DoT damage. Any enemy so afflicted will also take 25% more damage from the Monowire cyberware.

None of these bonuses is as overwhelming as others presented here. With this deck’s synergy with Overclock, allowing it to reset quickhack duration on OC use, it’s a good case to pair with almost any other setup you can imagine. Adding Monowire is a nice touch as well, giving you an additional combat option from within the Intelligence tree that also works together with the Relic tree (should you own Phantom Liberty).

Best Cyberdeck for Fast-Paced Combat: Militech Paraline MK.4

The Militech Paraline Cyberdeck is just strong. It provides so many bonuses it’s hard to choose which one is better than the others. First off, it provides a flat 10% bonus to all quickhack damage. No muss, no fuss. Just damage. Depending on how many RAM units you have, it can also give up to 30% additional Monowire damage. If you pair it with a Smart weapon, the simple act of hitting and enemy with a Smart bullet speeds up how fast the hack uploads. And, should you use Overclock, both Smart weapons and Monowire deal an additional 25% Electrical damage, based on the normal attack damage.

The Paraline is not designed for stealth gameplay, in other words, but it excels with you in the thick of things, where Cyberpunk combat is at its best. You can technically use it in stealth, but only as an “oh shit” button in case you’re caught in a bad situation. You won’t have quite the same ability to clear rooms silently, but clear them you will.

Best Cyberdeck for Style Points: Militech Canto MK.6

If you want to send your enemies behind the Blackwall against their will, there are only two ways, and the Militech Canto MK.6 is the most direct route. It’s not the most efficient nor the most effective hack in Cyberpunk 2077. Hell, it hardly even tickles most bosses. But if you roll up to a five-star wanted level and have the ability to unleash the Blackwall Gateway quickhack, your enemies’ dying screams will be as satisfying as they are distorted by the horrid energies generated by rogue AIs. A horrible thing to consider, don’t you think?

That’s it for the best cyberdecks Cyberpunk 2077 has to offer. For more content on Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty expansion, check out our guides on everything we know about the upcoming multiplayer mod, all Relic point locations, and more in our guides hub.
