These robots won't run on 32-bit Windows systems.

Respawn Entertainment co-founder and former head of Infinity Ward Vince Zampella has released the minimum specifications for their upcoming multiplayer-only first-person shooter Titanfall via his Twitter account. For those of you who are on a Twitter unfriendly device, here’s the minimum requirements:

Recommended Videos
  • 64-bit Windows 7, 8, 8.1
  • AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
  • 4GB RAM
  • 512MB VRAM, Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT

The interesting part of this is, despite only requiring 4 GB of RAM, Titanfall does need a 64-bit version of Windows (which is only necessary if you want a computer to use more than 4 GB of RAM). Consider that a strong hint to get more than the minimum requirements if you want to put in some serious hours battling giant robots and free running soldiers with jetpacks. Yes, that is as cool as it sounds.

Titanfall will release for both the PC and the Xbox One simultaneously on March 11th.
