Mac gamers rejoice! Titanfall could be getting a Mac OS X release sooner than you think.
Earlier this week, Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella responded to a question on Twitter about whether a Mac version of the studio’s new first person shooter would ever be released. Zampella responded, saying that the studio is currently in talks with Aspyr, and added “they should do it.”
Aspyr, a Texas-based company specializing in porting games for Mac, is definitely not unfamiliar with handling big-name titles. Their most recent endeavors include BioShock Infinite, Borderlands 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Even if Respawn and Aspyr do decide to port Titanfall for Mac, it’ll likely be a while before we see that release. Titanfall was released on March 11 for Xbox One and PC, and the Xbox 360 version, developed by Bluepoint Games, will be released on March 25.
