You’ve composed the first two songs for Toadofsky. Now, he just needs the last one to complete his masterpiece. Like the previous melodious puzzles, there’s a rhyme and reason to this solution. In this guide, I’ll tell you how to play the Monstro Town Melody Bay song in Super Mario RPG. 

How to Play the Monstro Town Melody Bay Song in Super Mario RPG

To find the third and final composition for Toadofsky, you’ll have to make your way to Monstro Town. When you talk to the mayor as soon as you get to town, he’ll tell you he has a Star upstairs. Although it’s not the Star you’re looking for in the main story, it will sing you a small melody. If you look closely, you’ll see a music sheet behind it. 

The music sheet doesn’t tell you the name of the notes, but it shows you the dots on the sheet. This song is known as the Monstro Town Melody. These are the exact notes:

• Ti
• Do
• Re 
• So
• Do
• Re
• Mi

After you show Toadofsky the Monstro Town Melody, you’ll receive the Soprano Card which is the upgraded version of the Tenor Card. This will allow you to purchase the Croka Cola from the Juice Bar which will recover HP and FP for all characters in your party. 

How to Compose Melody Bay Tadpole Pond Songs in Super Mario RPG

Once you enter Melody Bay, you’ll come across a pond resembling a music sheet. You’ll also meet Toadofsky, who is looking for new compositions. He’ll teach you each note on the music sheet. From top to bottom, the notes go:

• Mi
• Re
• Do
• Ti 
• La
• So
• Fa

When you try to compose a song, the tadpoles will move up and down the music sheet. You’ll have to jump on the tadpole at the right time to get your desired note. If you miss the timing, it will return, so take your time and don’t rush.
