The whole idea of poking around dark hallways for shiny metal objects to take back to your mysterious corporate overlords is already enough to wrap your head around. Let’s go over how to get a flashlight in Lethal Company so you can get to the game.
How to Get a Flashlight in Lethal Company
I get it, you don’t want to read a bunch of stuff to get a flashlight. When you first start a new game, you have 60 credits to spend at the Terminal. It’s not a lot, so you’ll want to spend it wisely.
- Have one of your crew open the Terminal with the “E” key.
- Then, have them type the word “store” and hit Enter.
- They can see the flashlight price, which is normally 15 credits.
- To buy a flashlight or four, type the words “flashlight 4” and hit Enter.
- If you’re on a moon, the flashlight(s) will be delivered by a drop pod that plays music after a short delay.
You can get four flashlights with the amount of money your crew starts the game with. If you’re playing with fewer than four people, you can get two walkie-talkies and two flashlights instead so you can communicate remotely.
Flashlight vs. Pro-flashlight
The regular flashlight isn’t very good. You’ll want to upgrade to pro-flashlights after you’ve met your first profit quota, since they put out brighter light and last at least twice as long as the basic ones. Each Pro-flashlight costs 25 credits, unless they’re on sale, and can be bought using the Terminal just like the regular flashlights. It hurts a lot more to lose one of them, though.
One last thing to keep in mind is that items aren’t brought with someone when they use the Teleporter or Inverse Teleporter. If you teleport someone using either of them, their stuff will be left where they were standing.
That’s all I’ve got to say about how to get a flashlight in Lethal Company, and how many you should get to start. Check out some of our other LC guides here on GameSkinny.
