In the coming days of general next-gen rumor and speculation, it certainly looks like Microsoft is going to cash in on the Steam-like marketing strategy of Xbox Live. But they certainly don’t have to wait until the release of a new console to implement it.
Director of Programming Larry Hyrb announced the annual Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale today via his blog, Major Nelson. From February 26 to March 4, you can grab the following 360 games at deeply discounted prices–around 75% off, with some games marked down with a staggering 85% discount tag.
Major Nelson recommends you follow his twitter account, as different sets of games will be discounted on different days. If you’ve waited to flesh out your game shelf, or usually rent your games but long for a particular addition to your library, make sure you keep an eye on the Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale.
