Next Xbox to be Revealed in April?

All signs point to Microsoft getting ready for a new reveal.

With so much buzz about the PS4 going around, it would not be a surprise if Microsoft unveiled its upcoming console soon. According to Rob Crossley of ComputerAndVideoGames, that “soon” may just be on April 26.

Crossley posted this Tweet yesterday evening:

The next Xbox event is scheduled for April 26th, I’ve been told by someone I trust. Microsoft may change date, obvs, but diarise tentatively

This comes very shortly after a mystery domain (xboxevent.com WHOIS) was registered by Eventcore/US Techs, the same firm that created Microsoft’s media registration site for E3 2012 (xboxe312.com Google cache).

The great console war of 2013 is upon us! Following reports of Microsoft feeling the heat over the PlayStation 4 reveal, it looks like they may be rushing a big push to get all eyes off Sony. Will April 26 really be the day we see the next Xbox revealed? We’ll find out as we get into March and early April.
