Major Nelson of Microsoft answered a few questions on a Reddit thread over the past couple of days about the upcoming additions to the Xbox One. The updates “coming soon” are part of Microsoft’s dedication to making huge improvements to the console.
Nelson answered briefly to consumer’s concerns.
Nelson started his answering spree with a response to the original Reddit post stating how the console is gaining momentum.
“Lot’s of good work going on to make the console even better – some you’ll see soon, some will show up later. But: it is all good stuff : )”
Once he responded the questions of what he meant by this came in. Questions regarding Kinect security and external storage (which is needed as soon as possible due to the large download sizes coming with these next-gen games).
“There are a TON of issues w/ this..#1 being privacy. Some people (incorrectly) think Kinect is always watching them.”
“External game storage is coming soon….I need to check on media support.”
So although Nelson doesn’t have direct answers at least we can count on Microsoft dedicating to improving the already arguably very successful Xbox One.
Do you think the comments made by Nelson will actually mean some well needed updates to the console fighting for first place with the PlayStation 4? Only time will tell if these changes will actually take place.
