 When Does LEGO Fortnite Come Out? Answered

Ever since the brick-building partnership was announced back in April 2022, players have been left wondering what that means for the game. LEGO Fortnite will bring a one-of-a-kind ultimate survival crafting adventure to the discovery carousel. The LEGO game mode will come out on December 7, 2023. Thankfully, that’s right around the corner so we won’t be waiting much longer.

LEGO Fortnite Mode — Explained

LEGO Fortnite will bring a brand new experience focused on open-world survival and sandbox gameplay. The mode heavily features crafting, so we expect to see plenty of brick-building creativity. LEGO Fortnite will exist independently of the Battle Royale mode, and you can team up with up to four friends in a squad.

I expect the game to feature some familiar mechanics from previous LEGO video games, like LEGO Worlds and LEGO Builder’s Journey. However, I have no doubt that the crossover will undoubtedly feel unique amongst the franchise’s previous games.

Additionally, over 1,200 existing Fortnite outfits will receive a LEGO style to transform into mini figures. I can’t wait to see my classic cosmetics get a LEGO makeover. Epic Games has stated that they’re going to continuously expand LEGO styling throughout the lifetime of the mode. However, some unique IPs will not be able to be transformed into minifigs.
