LEGO Fortnite: How to Get More Hearts and Increase Health

You can get more Hearts to increase your health in LEGO Fortnite. Here's how to make them.

There’s a lot more to love in the new LEGO mode than I thought there would be, maybe that’s the case for you as well. If you’re pushing through the game and having trouble surviving against mobs, here’s how to get more Hearts and increase health in LEGO Fortnite.

How to Get More Hearts and Increase Your Health in LEGO Fortnite

You have to make special charms to increase your health during your time in LEGO Fortnite. Health Charms are your one-stop craft for getting more Hearts to add to your health pool, but they take a little effort to make. It’s a worthwhile effort, but a pain nonetheless.

How to Make Health Charms in LEGO Fortnite

To make Health Charms and increase your health, you need a bit more than a Crafting Bench and a few materials. There are multiple tiers of these charms. All I’ve unlocked so far are the Common and Uncommon Health Charms, and both are made at the Crafting Bench.

Common Health Charm Recipe

This first one you unlock, this charm grants one Heart and one Armor. You’ll unlock the Health Charm blueprint in LEGO Fortnite after slaying your first Roller. The recipe for the Common Health Charm is as follows:

  • 3 Silk Threads
  • 5 Wolf Claws
  • 3 Bones

To make the Silk Threads, you need a Spinning Wheel. The other two materials have to be gotten from mobs, which we’ll go into as well as we roll through the rest of this guide. But first! Let’s talk about the Spinning Wheel, since that was what had me scratching my head initially.

How to Make a Spinning Wheel and Craft Silk Thread

You can make a Spinning Wheel workstation after you’ve progressed a while through Brite Bomber’s requests. The actual recipe for it requires:

As for how to get Silk Thread, it drops from spider mobs. You can pick up Granite to possibly get spiders to spawn, but they roam around some areas as well. It takes one Silk to make one Silk Thread.

How to Get Wolf Claws and Bones

The Wolf Claws you need are, unsurprisingly, dropped by wolf mobs across your world. Bones are dropped by skeleton mobs, which primarily spawn at night but can be found inside some caves during the day.

A direct upgrade from the above, the Uncommon Health Charm grants two Hearts and three Armor. You need the following materials to craft it:

  • 3 Silk Thread
  • 1 Marble
  • 1 Shell

How to Get Marble

Before you go looking for it, know that you’ll need a Pickaxe that’s been upgraded once before you can mine Marble. Once you have that, you can find Marble in caves.

How to Get Shells

Shells drop from Roller mobs, found in the grasslands and beaches disguised as rocks.

That’s all the advice I can give on how to get more hearts and increase health in LEGO Fortnite. There’s so much to learn here, but in time you (and I) will get the hang of all the basic crafting recipes and progression steps. Check out some of our other guides on Fortnite here on GameSkinny.
