If you’re encountering the loadout glitch in CoD: Modern Warfare 3 Warzone, then you may be able to fix it. However, like all fixes for issues of this nature, solutions don’t work for all players, unfortunately. Here, I’ll provide you with a few possible fixes for the Warzone loadout glitch.
Possible Fixes and Solutions for the Loadout Glitch in MW3 Warzone
1. Update Modern Warfare 3
Raven Software, the developer of CoD MW3, releases patches for the game on a relatively regular basis, and they did so recently with the Season 1 Reloaded update. A fresh patch removes the Champion’s Quest in Warzone that involves the loadout glitch, as well as, supposedly, the fetching online profile error. Here’s the message from the official X/Twitter:
So stay patient and wait for the next official patch that should fix the loadout glitch, as well as many other glitches after the Season 1 Reloaded update. However, there are some things we can try in the meantime.
2. Remove the Cold Blooded Perk
If you still want to try fixing the Warzone loadout glitch, some players have found a way to bypass it manually. It involves removing the Cold Blooded perk from any of your existing loadouts. Although the Cold Blooded perk is very useful for maintaining stealth, it may glitch out and cause players to lose custom loadout weapons in Warzone.
3. Change Your Attachments
Besides the Cold Blooded perk, some other attachments may also cause the loadout glitch in Warzone. Try to remove some of the attachments from your existing loadouts to see if you can use your loadout.
The problem is that different players may have different attachments that cause the glitch, so it’s hard to tell which ones you need to change. I also noticed that changing gear, such as gloves and boots, may also help in this situation.
4. Restart Your Game
I’ve also found that some players have successfully bypassed the loadout glitch by simply restarting Modern Warfare 3. At this point, I’d do the following:
- Press the CTRL+SHIFT+ESC key combo.
- Right-click on the Warzone process in the Task Manager.
- Select the “End Process” option.
- Once the game’s closed, restart it.
That’s everything I can say about potential fixes for the Warzone loadout glitch. Stay tuned for more CoD MW3 tips and tricks articles, including such as how to get Mosquito Drone killstreaks, how to get around the menu looping issue, or my list of the 10 best Marksman rifles.
