Sometimes you need a Pal whose sole purpose is to look sweet and drop Cotton Candy. Here, I’ll tell you where to find the best Woolipop locations in Palworld, so you can fill your Ranch with plenty of fluffy treats.
How to Find a Woolipop in Palworld: Day and Night Habitat
Woolipops are Neutral-type Pals best found west of the Rayne Syndicate Tower in a grassy biome consisting of four main fast travel statues:
- Ravine Entrance: -66, -424.
- Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster: -109, -466.
- Sealed Realm of the Thunder Dragon: -215, -349.
- Ascetic Falls: -223, -441.
If you drew a box connecting these points on your map, you’d have the perfect area to search for these fluffy, pink Pals. Thankfully, their day and night habitat is the same, letting you stick to this location until you find one. This is much easier than hunting down Pals across several locations or Lovander, who’s only active at night in two far-away desert biomes.
For me, I often find pairs of Woolipops swimming alongside Surfents in the water near the Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster and Ravine Entrance. They’re easy to spot from above if you have Nitewing, especially since they’re larger — in comparison to Pals like Lifmunk and Vixy — and brightly colored. Most were between Levels 14 and 20. For this area in general, you should aim to be between Levels 10 and 20.
How to Catch a Woolipop: Weaknesses and Which Spheres to Use
Being a Neutral Pal, Woolipop is vulnerable to attacks from Dark-type Pals. If you’re a bit under-leveled to fight a Level 14 Woolipop, bringing a Daedream, Depresso, or Hoocrates could definitely help.
However, this could backfire. Whichever Pal I have active usually ruins my catch by killing the target before I throw my Pal Sphere. To avoid this, you can use your Dark Pal to initiate the fight with a burst of damage, then tuck them away. The other alternative is to fight solo, which has been a breeze when I’m at least a couple of levels above the Pal I’m catching.
Additionally, you’re better off using Mega Spheres or Giga Spheres when hunting a Woolipop, as their capture rates are better than the standard Pal Sphere. You can loot them out in the environment, find them in chests, or craft them yourself with the appropriate workbench.
Woolipop Drops, Partner Skill, and Work Suitability
Woolipop isn’t the type of Pal that I bring with me for combat, as its Partner Skill makes it best at sustaining your base with non-perishable Cotton Candy when assigned to your Ranch. Here’s everything you need to know:
- Type: Neutral
- Partner Skill: Candy Pop. Sometimes drops Cotton Candy when assigned to Ranch.
- Work Suitability: Farming (Lv. 1)
- Drops: Cotton Candy and High Quality Pal Oil
Cotton Candy is great at sustaining your Pals’ Mental Stability, as it’s dropped frequently while the Woolipop is Farming and replenishes five SAN when consumed. If you don’t have a Ranch yet, be sure to research it at Technology Level 5. You can also farm Woolipops for High Quality Pal Oil, which you’ll need for weapon production.
That’s where to find a Woolipop in Palworld. For more on the game, check out our dedicated guides hub for topics like how to unlock the Incubator and how to increase your capture rate.
