Before you create Paradoxes, Godzilla, and even Time, elements of nature serve as stepping stones to those complicated recipes. If you plan to make Humans, knowing how to make Mud in Infinite Craft will get you halfway there.
How to Create Mud in Infinite Craft
Infinite Craft provides you with a blank canvas and four starting elements: Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth. From there, you have an endless well of combinations. The nice thing is that there are many ways you can create something, though some routes take fewer steps than others. In fact, I’ve discovered two ways you can create Mud, which is used in several recipes.
The easiest way to make Mud is by combining Steam and Earth. Steam isn’t one of your starter items, though. To make it, combine Water and Fire. All in all, your path to Mud should look like this:
- Water + Fire = Steam
- Steam + Earth = Mud
Truthfully, that simple route wasn’t the first way I figured out how to make Mud in Infinite Craft. My first set of combinations was much longer, but also pretty fun to discover. Here’s how I did it:
- Earth + Earth = Mountain
- Mountain + Water = Lake
- Lake + Earth = Swamp
- Swamp + Earth = Mud
What’s Mud Used for in Infinite Craft?
Staying true to its name, it feels like every item in this game has infinite uses. Unsurprisingly, you can use Mud to make even muddier things. For instance, if you combine a Swamp with Mud, you get a Quagmire. Here are some other items it creates:
- Brick: Mud + Fire
- Adobe: Mud + Brick
- Lava: Mud + Volcano
- Clay: Mud + Earth
- Pottery: Mud + Clay
- Pig: Mud + Puddle
- Pigpen: Mud + Pig
- Tractor: Mud + Engine
- Beach: Surf + Mud
- Mudslide: Avalanche + Mud
- Adam: Venus + Mud
For most items in Infinite Craft, I recommend doing what I call double-combos. A good example is making a Pig with Mud and a Puddle, then combining it with Mud again to create a Pigpen. Mud is also used to make Clay, but mixing both gives you Pottery.
That covers how to make Mud in Infinite Craft. Who knew you could craft so many things just with Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth? For more crafting recipes, check out our growing guides hub.
