DRG Survivor S-Tier Weapons

M1000 Classic

  • Class: Scout
  • Type: Semi-Automatic Rifle

Here’s the ultimate weapon with excellent damage, perfect accuracy, and low reload times. In the Focus Shot Mode, I can deal as much as 125% damage and never miss a shot. If I use piercing ammo, then I can easily kill elite enemies, even in hordes. On top of that, I can use charged shots that grant a 100% stun chance. This is truly a great option for Scout, and it’s the best weapon in the game.

Drak-25 Plasma Carbine

  • Class: Scout
  • Type: Plasma Rifle

A bit later in the game, you can unlock the Drak-25 Plasma Carbine, which is a solid alternative to the M1000 Classic rifle. What I like about Drak-25 is that it can be just as efficiently used against a group of enemies as against a single target. The reason is that its plasma projectiles bounce off surfaces, dealing extra damage to all the foes in the vicinity. Lastly, it doesn’t require reloading, but it can overheat. In that case, I suggest simply switching to your secondary weapon.

DRG Survivor A-Tier Weapons

“Lead Storm” Powered Minigun

  • Class: Gunner
  • Type: Heavy Kinetic Minigun

Lead Storm has one of the highest firerates in DRG Survivor, with as many as 3,500 rounds per minute. What makes this weapon stand out from the same category is the built-in gyro stabilizer, which makes shooting highly efficient. When using Lead Storm, I can be sure that I’ll never miss a single shot. But it does consume tons of ammo, so be sure to resupply frequently.

Deepcore GK2

  • Class: Scout
  • Type: Assault Rifle

In my opinion, this is the best starting weapon for the Scout class. It’s not as good as the M1000 Classic, as it has lower damage. But there are two special qualities in GK2 that I need to mention. First, while using armor-piercing ammo, I can easily penetrate heavily armored enemies. Second, it has increased weak point damage, which is why I believe it’s such a great choice against high-priority targets.

DRG Survivor B-Tier Weapons

“Bulldog” Heavy Revolver

  • Class: Gunner
  • Type: Heavy Revolver

Here’s the best sidearm in the game that deals tons of damage with a high stun chance. It’s extremely easy to use, as it requires no set up or special positioning. Of course, being a revolver, it has limited range and ammo capacity. But if I had to use it in a dire situation, I know I could steal a victory by focusing on weak points, and the damage would do the rest.

LMG Gun Platform

  • Class: Engineer
  • Type: Turret

It’s no secret that Engineers and Drillers haven’t got any really good weapons. But I love the LMG Turret, which can cover my back due to its autonomous defense system. I can leave it behind me and focus on other things, while it shoots off those pesky bugs. The only thing I need to worry about with the LMG Gun Platform is where to put it for maximum area coverage.

That’s it for my tier list of the best weapons in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. Stay tuned for more DRGS tips and tricks articles right here.
