A new trailer is released for the upcoming PlayStation arcade shooter, Tiny Troopers Joint Ops.
Here’s over a minute of jam-packed action from the trailer that’s found on the European PlayStation Blog.
What is Tiny Troopers Joint Ops?
Tiny Troopers in an overhead arcade shooter. Players are armed with plenty of weapons, along with using specialized equipment such as missiles to blow up things you can’t destroy on foot. The blog touts that there will be over seven hours of gameplay.
The game is a combination of two mobile games: Tiny Troopers and Tiny Troopers 2: Special Ops. It will be released on PS3, PS4, and PS Vita, and the game is both Cross-Play and Cross-Save.
Two major differences will be added to the PlayStation editions. The Vita edition will have an option for touch screen play, but all of them will have dual-stick gameplay. That means you’ll be moving your character around with one stick while shooting everything in sight with the other.
Another difference is how upgrades are added to the soldiers. The mobile edition uses in-app purchases, but the PlayStation editions would use points that players collect during missions.
Tiny Troopers Joint Ops is developed by Kukouri Mobile Entertainment and is being published on PlayStation consoles by Wired Productions. The game currently doesn’t have a release date or price point. It was speculated to have a late summer release this year on the US and European consoles.
