You can play WWE 2K24 just a little bit early by using the New Zealand trick to jump ahead in time. Here's how to make it work on the available platforms!

If you’re as excited as us to jump into WWE 2K24, you won’t want to wait until your local launch time to play. Thankfully, you may not have to wait as long by jumping ahead to New Zealand time. Here’s how to play WWE 2K24 early using this little trick.

WWE 2K24 looks like a timeless experience for WWE fans. With the upcoming release just around the corner, waiting for it to launch is getting harder. The sooner we can jump in, the better, so preload the game ahead of time, and try this little trick to speed up the time.

How to play WWE 2K24 Early – New Zealand Trick

Since New Zealand happens to be ahead of NA times and other time zones, switching your platform’s region allows you to gain access to the game early. The process is slightly different on each platform, but it’s an easy switch you can try or reverse at any time you like.

How to play WWE 2K24 early on Xbox

The New Zealand trick works the best on Xbox and it only takes a few simple steps:

  • Open the “Settings” menu of your Xbox. Find it by pressing the Xbox button, hovering over your profile icon, and looking under “Profile & System” options.
  • Within the “Settings” menu, navigate to the “System” tab.
  • Select the “Language & Location” option within the “System” tab.
  • Change the “Location” to New Zealand.
  • Press “Restart now” on the right side of the menu to make your changes successfully.

How to play WWE 2K24 early on PlayStation

Playing WWE 2K24 early on PlayStation requires a little more of a hassle. To our dismay, changing the console region doesn’t do the trick, unlike for Xbox. You must purchase the game via the New Zealand PlayStation store for the New Zealand trick to work. This requires you to make a new PlayStation account with the region set as New Zealand and the purchase of the game done within this account. You can play on that New Zealand account or set up Profile Sharing.

How to play WWE 2K24 early on PC

Unfortunately, things get bumpy on the PC side as well. The game is housed on Steam, which means the release will be a global time, like Steam always does for game launches. This prevents players from changing the timezone to receive the game. That being said, we have no other option but to wait for the global release on Steam to start playing.

Hopefully these tricks help you play WWE 2K24 a bit earlier. Not all of them are easy to do, but if you’re feeling impatient, it’s worth a try. If you change your mind, you can always reverse your region back to your local time zone again.
