When Bungie released their Weekly Update last Friday, the team took to the mailbags to address the wants of needs of Destiny players everywhere. It is clear that the team is definitely listing the the wants and needs of the Destiny community.

Aside from mocking the Cryptarch in many hilarious ways, Raid matchmaking was one of the most wanted things that were discussed.

“We’re having conversations about how Matchmaking might support the more challenging activities in Destiny,” said community manager David “DeeJ” Dague in a post on the official forum. “More specifically, the comment extends to the challenge presented by trying to implement raid matchmaking. Given that the raid is built to be played by experienced players who work well together, Bungie believes a matchmaking solution would be difficult.”

No official word on whether or not the team will implement Raid matchmaking in the next update or not, only time will tell.
