How to All “The Three Doors” Puzzles in Reverse 1999

The 1.4 update for Reverse 1999 introduced the brand new “The Three Doors” mode, where you must walk around an open map and solve puzzles. In this guide, I’ll show you how to solve all of “The Three Doors” puzzles in Reverse 1999. 

The new “ The Three Doors” mode has you taking control of a character and moving them in a grid map in order to solve puzzles. The goal is to reach the end of the map and enter the doorway to get to the next stage. There are collectibles you’ll have to obtain to unlock pillars that allow you to advance.

Reverse 1999: “The Three Doors” Stage 1 Solution

1. Collect the letter and step on the triangle stone to awaken the pillar.
2. Collect the five knowable before entering the Ice Puzzle.
3. Go straight to the first ice section.
4. Second ice section steps: up, right, up left, down, right, up, right, down, left .
5. Turn right and collect the two knowable, then start the battle.
6. Awaken the legacy stone.
7. Go to the right for the next ice puzzle and follow these steps: right, down, right, up, right, down, right, up, down, left, up, left, up. 
8. Walk forward and enter the portal.
9. Collect the three knowable and step on the triangle stone to unlock the pillar.
10. Enter the portal.
11. Follow these steps for the next ice puzzle: right, down, right, down, up, left, up, right, up, right, down, left, up, right, up, right.
12. Step on the triangle stone and awaken the pillar.
13. Go back to the ice puzzle: left, down. 
14. Awaken the pillar and collect the three knowable. 
15. Collect the letter next to the knowable.
16. Go back to the previous ice puzzle and follow the steps again. 
17. Return to the second ice puzzle and awaken the pillar. 
18. Return to the last portal and awaken the pillars. 
19. Enter the battle and collect the chest at the end. 
20. Go back up and beat the enemy to the right of the map.
21. Go up and collect the second box.
22. Collect the letter on the desk.
23. Enter through the doorway and complete stage one.

‘The Three Doors’ Puzzle – Stage 2 Solution

The new “ The Three Doors” mode has you taking control of a character and moving them in a grid map in order to solve puzzles. The goal is to reach the end of the map and enter the doorway to get to the next stage. There are collectibles you’ll have to obtain to unlock pillars that allow you to advance. Stage 2 introduces Monoliths, stone pillars that you can place to activate doors or change your path during ice puzzles.  Here are the steps to complete Stage 2. 

1. Go right and collect the two knowable.
2. Continue right and collect the Monolith and the letter on the bed.
3. Turn around and place the Monolith on the stone pressure plate.
4. Go through the door and collect the two knowable and the Monolith.
5. Turn right to the first ice puzzle and follow these steps: right, down, left, collect the Monolith, down.
6. Enter the battle and defeat the enemies then collect the legacy stone.
7. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: up, right, up.
8. Collect the to knowable and awaken the legacy stone.
9. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: down, left, up, left, down, left.
10. Collect the Monolith and two knowable.
11. Enter the second ice puzzle and follow these steps: Up, right, place Monolith, down, left, down, right, down, left, left, up, right, up right, down, right.
12. Enter the battle and defeat the enemies.
13. Collect the one knowable, two Monolith and letter.
14. Turn back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: left, down, left, up, right, up, place Monolith, right, down, left, up, right, place Second Monolith, down, left, up left, up, right, up, collect unknowable, press reset on the right of the screen.
15. After the reset, follow these steps: left, down, left, up, right, up, right, up collect the 2 knowable.
16. Place the two Monoliths on the pressure plates.
17. Go to the next ice puzzle and follow these steps: right, down, right, up, right.
18. Enter the battle, defeat the enemies, and collect one knowable and the Monolith.
19. Turn back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: left, down, right, up, place Monolith, left, up, right, down, right, up, left, down, collect the four knowable, and reset.
20. After rest, follow these steps: left, up, right, place Monolith, left, down, right, up, left.
21. Step on the pressure plate to open the door.
22. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: right, down, right, up right.
23. Collect the Monolith.
24. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: left, up, left, down, left.
25. Place the Monolith on the pressure plate and open the door to collect the unknowable.
26. Go up and awaken the legacy stone to collect three knowable.
27. Use the legacy stone to awaken the pillars and collect the letter.
28. Go back down and head to the left.
29. Enter the ice puzzle and follow these steps: left, down, right, up, left, down, right, up.
30. Defeat the enemies and collect the Monolith.
31. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: down, left, down, right, up, place Monolith, right, down, left, up, left.
32. Defeat the enemies and collect the box.
33. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: right, up, right, up, collect the Monolith, down, left, down, right, down.
34. Collect the two knowable and place the two knowable on the pressure plate.
35. Collect the knowable and unknowable and unlock the down to the south.
36. Defeat the enemy and collect the letter and four knowable.
37. Go to the right and collect the Monolith.
38. Awaken the legacy stone then go back to the left and awaken the other two legacy stones.
39. Enter the portal to the right and collect the Monolith 
40. Exit the portal and head right
41. Enter the portal at the bottom of the room 
42. Enter the ice puzzle and follow these steps: Up, place Monolith, left, down, right, up, right, place second Monolith, up, left, up, left, down, right, down, right, down, collect unknowable and rest
43. After reset, head down and awaken the legacy stones, collect the letters and enter the doorway to finish the Second Stage of “The Three Doors’.”

How to Complete ‘The Three Doors’ Stage 3 Puzzle in Reverse 1999

1. Head down and collect the note by the bed.
2. Go all the way to the right then collect the two knowable.
3. Head down to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: down, left, down, right, up, right, down, left, up, right, up.
4. Collect the one knowable and Monolith.
5. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: down, place the Monolith on the bottom left square, left, down left, down, right, up, right, up, left, down, left, right, down.
6. Head south and collect the one knowable and Legacy Stone.
7. Continue south and collect two more knowable and awaken the pillar.
8. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: up, left, down, left, up, right, up, left, up, right, up. 
9. Continue forward and awaken the two pillars to unlock the door.
10. Go up and collect the two knowable and one unknowable.
11. Head back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: down, right, down, right.
12. Collect the one knowable and continue right.
13. Awaken the two pillars and go the right to collect the two knowable.
14. Enter the ice puzzle and follow these steps: right, down, right, up, left, down, right, down, left.
15. Collect the two knowable and one unknowable.
16. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: right, down, left, up, right, down, right, up, left, down, right, up, left, up, right, up, left, down, right, up, left.
17. Enter battle and defeat enemies.
18. Head right and collect the two knowable and Monolith.
19. Step on the pressure plate to open the door.
20. Go back to ice puzzle and follow these steps: right, up, left, down, right, left, up, right, up, left, down, place Monolith in top middle square, right, up, right, up, left, down, right, up, collect unknowable, down, remove Monolith and rest.
21. After rest follow these steps: right, up, right, up, left, place Monolith on middle right square, down, right, up, right, up, right, up, left up.
22. Collect the knowable and go right.
23. Collect the note on the wheelchair.
24. Step on the pressure plate to unlock the previous door.
25. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: down, right, down, left, up, right, up, left, remove Monolith, left, down, right, up, left.
26. Collect Monolith and head up.
27. Collect four knowable and go up.
28. Enter the ice puzzle and follow these steps: up, left, up, right, up, left, down, right, down, left, up.
29. Collect the two knowable and go up.
30. Awaken the two pillars to unlock the door and step on pressure plate. 
31. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: down, right, place Monolith on the middle right square, up, left, down, right, up, left.
32. Collect the one knowable, enter the battle, and defeat the enemies.
33. Collect the box and awaken pillar.
34. Go back to the ice puzzle and follow these steps: right, down, left.
35. Head down and collect the Monolith.
36. Go all the way up and enter the ice puzzle: right, place Monolith on top square, left, up, right, up, left, down, left, down, right, right, collect unknowable, up, right. 
37. Collect one knowable and Monolith.
38. Enter battle then head down and collect two knowable.
39. Collect the notes on the table then head left.
40. Place a Monolith on each pressure plate to open the door.
41. Enter battle, defeat the enemies and collect the box.
42.  Go back to the right then head up.
43. Go right and place a Monolith on each pressure plate to unlock the door.
44. Enter the ice puzzle: right, down, right, down, left, up, right, down.
45. Collect the two knowable and enter the battle.
46. Collect the Monolith.
47. Return to ice puzzle: right, up, left, down, right, down, right, down, left, place Monolith on top left square, up, left, down, left, down, right, collect unknowable, reset.
48. After reset: up, right, up, left, down, left, right, down, right, up, left, up, right, up, left, up, right, place Monolith in left middle square, down, left, up, left, up, right, up.
49. Collect the two knowable and Monolith and step on the pressure plate.
50. Return to ice puzzle: down, remove Monolith, right, down, left, up, left, place Monolith to the right, up, left, up, right, down, left.
51. Step on the pressure plate then enter the portal.
52. Collect the two knowable.
53. Enter the door on the far right and enter the portal 
54. Collect the two knowable and the letter.
55. Enter the door on the far right and collect the unknowable then exit the room.
56. Enter the door on the far left and enter the portal.
57. Collect the two knowable then head up to enter the battle.
58. Go forward and collect the box.
59. Go right and collect the note.
60. Go forward and enter the doorway.
