When you create your character, you can choose from six different classes: the Killer, Breaker, Seducer, Sapper, Beginner, and Unsharpened. Each class has its pros and cons, and some even come with Special Skills unique to them. One of their most significant differences is the weapons they’re proficient at.

Each weapon class has a different Combat Style. You’ll want to choose the right weapon depending on how you fight. For example, I like mobility and dealing quick damage, but I’m not a fan of heavy weapons that attack slower.

To change your Sharpening Origin, unlock The Longhouse and have a Brush Kit available. You’ll unlock The Longhouse as soon as you reach Yokohama. After that, a Black Marketeer will sell you rare items for Silver Coins; this is where you’ll get the Brush Kit.

To change your Sharpening Origin, you’ll have to enter The Longhouse, select “Relax,” and then select “Blade Repair.” This will use your Brush kit, and you can choose a new Sharpening Origin. It also allows you to respect all of your Skill Points. In short, it lets you redo your character from scratch.
