Assassin’s Creed Unity is going to be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in a couple of days. A lot of critisism has been revolving around the game after Ubisoft said that it would run at 900p, because they want pairity between both consols. An album of pictures for the PS4 version of the game has been leaked early, showing the game’s sub-par resolution.
Now that Assassin’s Creed Unity has been released to the press, leaked screenshots of the PS4 version have surfaced, giving different glimpses of how well the graphics look on the console. GearNuke was kind enough to do a pixel count, and sure enugh, the native resolution of the console version is indeed 900p.
There’s an Imgur album that you can check out for all the new screenshots. Just watch out for spoilers.
Unity is trying something new in the series, with a strong focus on co-op gameplay. It wears a stunning, new AI that allows the game to render a lot of crowds, making it thoroughly impossible for a port on the PS3 and Xbox 360. However, that will be made up for with another new Assassin’s Creed game titled Rogue.
Be sure to look out for the release of Assassin’s Creed Unity coming to North America on Novermber 11th of this year. Honor the dead Assassins and fight for freedom.
