Best Midlane Heroes, Ranked

Gideon

Gideon is an all-around great hero to choose from in Midlane. Not only do they have the range to hit the enemies from a safe distance, but they’re capable of drawing all the enemies close in with their Black Hole ultimate to damage them all as one. Their Torn Space portals allow them to move around quickly, staying out of reach while slowing down the enemies simultaneously with their other abilities. The best part about them is that they are relatively easy to figure out, allowing even beginner players to excel.

Lt. Belica

Lt. Belica is another Midlane hero who has an advantage with ranged attacks. They can shoot out seismic waves and use their lasered weapons and drones to use the opponents’ Mana against them. They are even more powerful when targeting heroes that rely on Mana. Either way, they can absorb as much Mana as possible to increase their damage and make all their attacks fatal.

Gadget

Gadget uses their special tech abilities to set up protective spaces and boundaries that deal AoE damage to the enemies. These abilities provide a more defensive approach to the battlefield, slowing and damaging enemies with most of their attacks, like the Security Gate, and having AoE capable of controlling the enemy crowds, with their passive Shock Absorber shield.

Howitzer

Howitzer is all about the explosives. They utilize their Slow Grenades and Land Mines to set up defensive spaces, similar to Gadget, that trigger and explode when enemies enter them. They can also progressively increase their damage output with their passive ability, which also restores their Mana. Their ult allows them great mobility, keeping enemies at a distance and controlling the battlefield.

Countess

Countess is one of the fastest Midlane heroes with their Shadow Slip ability and quick-firing attacks. Plus, they hone in on life-steal abilities, damaging enemies and absorbing their HP for themselves. They can be extremely deadly one-on-one but are also capable of hitting more than one enemy at a time. Their life-steal makes them a tanky character who doesn’t need much support.

Morigesh

Morigesh uses her ult ability to damage the enemy with a giant made of insects.

Morigesh uses voodoo magic to curse and damage enemies with hordes of insects. Their abilities can hone into one enemy in particular, dealing significant stackable damage to them when they’re Marked. This is useful for focusing Support heroes on the enemy team. Her passive ability, Pestilence, allows their damage to spread to other players, but they are better at focusing on one enemy at a time.

Best Offlane Heroes, Ranked

Serath

Serath is all about physical damage and speed, making them the best options for Offlane heroes. They can keep building up their physical damage, stacking damage multipliers for maximum effectiveness. But what makes them impressive is their ability to keep enemies from escaping. When an enemy attempts to retreat, they can throw out their rapid-striking attacks like Heaven’s Fury or fly up and slam into them from above with their Ascend ability.

Feng Mao

Feng Mao is probably one of the most go-to heroes for those looking to focus damage. They dominate the battlefield with up-close-and-personal melee attacks that bring all physical damage. But Feng Mao doesn’t sacrifice any of the speed with their power. Their Safeguard and Reaping Dash abilities give them plenty of mobility to restrict enemies from trying to escape. You can make Feng Mao even more tanky, by adding on Omnivamp.

Steel

Steel is tankier Offlane hero that focuses more on defensive plays. They can not only provide shield for themselves, but place shields down on the battlefield to protect their teammates. Their skills all favor immobilizing and slowing multiple enemies at a time, making them more vulnerable to attacks in return. With their sustainability, they can tank incoming damage easily.

Greystone

Greystone is a nice combination of Steel and Feng Mao, offering more sustainability but powerful melee attacks. They have have fast-firing attacks like their Make Way ability that can plow through multiple enemies and provide crown control. Like, Feng Mao, their another great hero to use Omnivamp with, increasing their sustainability further.

Sevarog

Sevarog is the reaper of souls, and another of the best tanky Offlane hero. They don’t even need to use Lifesteal items, because their abilities offer Siphon, damaging enemies in return for health. This allows Sevarog to sustain against all sorts of incoming damage. They can phase through enemies with their Phantom Rush and then target multiple enemies with magical damage.

Best Support Heroes, Ranked

Dekker

Dekker placing Containment Fence ability, blocking enemies from getting through

Dekker is the most meta support character in the game currently, and that’s because they are the best at shielding allies while simultaneously trapping enemies. Dekker can remain at a safe distance with their ranged abilities, all of which focus on stunning enemies and restricting their movement. This helps allies avoid damage or have an advantage against the opponent while their vulnerable.

Narbash

Narbash is possibly the best support character when it comes to providing recovering for mana and health. Their rhythmic drum beats can give themselves and allies mana and HP overtime, provide additional speed, all while stunning and debuffing enemies in the process.

Phase

Phase linking with ally and pulling them backwards away from enemies

Phase is another of the best support characters, however, they take a lot of practice to get the hang of. They are capable of creating a link between them and another player, empowering them both and providing healing. They can use this link to pull allies out of damage as needed and blind enemies that get too close. At the same time, Phase has abilities that can deal their own damage as well.

Riktor

Riktor is support character that excels at leaving enemies vulnerable to attacks so that more damage focused heroes and rush in and takeover. They utilize their chains to grab onto enemies and pull them inward, keeping them from escaping, and then using their Shock Therapy to silence them.

Best Carry Heroes, Ranked

TwinBlast

TwinBlast is an S-tier hero and the very best of the Carry Heroes, and that’s honestly all thanks to their speed. Their fast-firing dual weapons release a hailstorm of bullets on their enemies. Plus, their extra mobility allows them to stay well away from incoming damage and keep blasting the enemy away before they get a chance to react. Build them with items that stack on that attack speed even more, and they are a force to be reckoned with.

Drongo

Drongo using gag grenade, cloud of toxins around the enemy and Drongo pointing gun at them

If you’re a fan of the more explosive and toxic play, Drongo is definitely the mighty Carry hero for you. Their primary focus is damage over time. They throw toxins, whack enemies with their fast-paced boomerang, and stack up their critical strikes to apply bleed. With a good build, Drongo’s damage can carry the team to victory.

Revenant

Revenant using Obliterate ability, homing in ethereal bullets to the enemy

Revenant is one intimidating bounty that is great at 1v1 showdowns. They might be another expert-level character, but for good reason. Their hand cannon shots are slow but deadly, and the fourth round is guaranteed to be critical each time. Their Obliterate ability homes ethereal bullets to the enemy, keeping them from escaping. And, with each kill, Revenant’s bounty gold increases, exchanging into even more critical chance.

Sparrow

Sparrow is similar to TwinBlast as a fast, ranged Carry hero. They deliver unrelenting physical damage through arrows and can boost their attack speed with their Heightened Senses ability. At the same time, they can use her Hail of Arrows to rain down from above and slow enemies that the arrows strike. They don’t have to be up close and personal to deal damage, which makes them a real asset to the team.

Murdock

On the topic of ranged heroes, Murdock is yet another of the best Carry heroes who are great at sitting back and damaging enemies from afar. Not only do they provide ranged damage for the team, but they can also provide some defensive maneuvers as well. Their Static Trap catches enemies within it and roots them briefly, leaving them vulnerable to their lethal sniper shots.

Best Jungle Heroes, Ranked

Khaimera

Khaimera using Unleash ability on the enemy, surrounded in a haze and slashing at them
Image via Omeda Studios

Khaimera is the meta Jungle hero right now because they have balanced abilities that not only deal damage but slow enemies and even grant Khaimera the ability to heal themselves. They’re a walking arsenal with all these abilities, and add on some items that extend their capabilities even more. Lifesteal and Omnivamp, on top of the regeneration they already do, will make them unkillable.

Crunch

Crunch is possibly one of the hardest Jungle heroes to figure out, but if you know how to build them and use their abilities effectively, they are a brute. They utilize their mech fists as their main weapon, relying solely on Physical Damage to stun enemies and perform fast attacks they can’t react to.

Rampage

Rampage is a nice combination of Crunch and Khaimera, mashing together both brute strength and regenerative abilities. With their King of the Jungle ability, they gain regeneration while in the Jungle. Their ult ability plays on that regeneration even more, giving them double their health and increased regen. They can use their other abilities to jump and throw boulders at unsuspecting opponents.

Kallari

Kallari is a light-footed Jungle compared to the others, but no less powerful. They can use their camouflage to stay undetected and sneak up on their opponents. Their speed allows them to stay out of enemies’ reach and deliver stealthy stabs in the back that can leave enemies slowed and deal massive damage. Plus, like other Jungle characters, she also has some regenerative qualities.
