How to Defeat Gulpers in Fallout 76

Gulpers have the same movement patterns as Deathclaws during combat. After you initiate combat, they will charge at you, attempting to dodge bullets you shoot at them. Then, Gulpers will attack using their paws and giant mouths. Finally, they can perform a slide attack using their snout for lots of damage you must avoid.

It’s worth noting that Gulpers will hang upside down on tree branches, and they will drop down to attack you when you come close, so keep your eyes peeled if you don’t see any on the ground at one of the above locations.

Gulpers will not climb stairs or enter buildings but remain in the general area. This can be advantageous if you’re overwhelmed or about to die. However, they can regenerate their health slowly, so don’t hide from them for too long if you plan on defeating them.

Those are all Gulper locations in Fallout 76 and tips on defeating them! Check out our Fallout 76 hub for additional guides like How to Scrap Junk to Produce Ceramic, another timed challenge that is paired with killing Gulpers.
