I know this shoudl be entertaining in a way but my story’s pretty sad but i’ll try my best. I was in about 5th or 6th grade and Burning Crusade was the current expansion. I’d watch my buddy Fuggle play it all the time wishing I had my own computer to play it on but my family was semi poor at the time. So I’d just watch my buddy play all through BC and Wrath wishing I could get a computer to play someday. Then finally Cata came out and I was in 8th grade at the time. My dad who was sick with stage Four cancer at the time knew how much i wanted to play World of Warcraft. So my Birthday was a month before Cata came out so I wasn’t expecting WoW as a gift. Then the day Cata came out my dad came home with a Laptop and all the expacs up to Cata! I was extremley happy and excited that i could finally play with all my buddies that had WoW! So I started leveling a paladin and my dad was intrigued from wow and would watch me/take turns leveling with me. We reached around level 50-55 and we both didn’t want to be a drainei anymore. so we deleted the character and started leveling a new pally! about a month-month and a half went by and we finally hit 85! We would run through dungeons gearing up and anxiously waiting to raid! But by the time we had gotten enough gear Firelands was the new raid so we had to gear a little bit more. Once we did we started doing firelands. We raided firelands for about 2 months but then my world went upside down. My dad had passed away in 2011 and I went into a dark stage of my life. I was always depressed and pushed everyone away from me and wanted no part of anything anymore. I was almost at my limit of what I could take but WoW and all the good people my dad and I played with “saved” me from it all. If it wasnt for them and WoW who knows where I’d be today. I still play with all of them still maining the Paladin me and my dad loved playing to this day. So I hope to continue onto WoD with my friends and my Paladin next week and keep making more fond memories!
