Knightfall: A Daring Journey

Grab a friend and engage in a chivalrous battle royale with knights, guns, and bombs called Knightfall. It’s a silly mix of battle royales, Chivalry, Wild West shooters, and racing games where you compete against other players to win. The co-op aspect with your buddy as you ride into town is the main attraction since you’ll need to work together to defeat other teams.

The horse riding mechanics are simplistic yet fun as you drift on the road. Yes, you heard that right, horse drifting. As for the shooting mechanics, they’re smooth and satisfying, especially once you get some of the more explosive weapons. Fights will usually be around small town areas, and then you’ll move onto town closer to the castle on your horse racing against the other team.

ROUNDS

ROUNDS is a 2D 1v1 arena game in which you face one friend in consecutive duels as each round gets progressively harder. After each round, both players get to pick a unique upgrade. These can be passive ones, like slowing down your opponent, or active ones, like spawning a bunch of small bombs on your location.

Each duel is on a new level, and it’s always a different scenario as you mix melee and ranged weapons to take out your foe. Whoever reduces the opponent’s lives to zero wins. That said, it’s not the easiest game as not only shooting but also maneuvering around the ever-shifting environment comes into play.

Totally Accurate Battlegrounds

Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is another Landfall battle royale they made with their Totally Accurate Battle Simulator physics engine. Instead of managing armies, you’re managing one wobbly dude against a horde of other players. Utilize bouncy hammers, balloons, crossbows, grappling hooks, and more to be the last one standing. It’s a silly experience where the levels are usually as bizarre as in T.A.B.S. Still, it’s great ragdolly fun with friends and randoms that you can’t get in PUBG or Fortnite.

Stick Fight: The Game

Stick Fight: The Game is similar to ROUNDS in that it’s a 2D arena battler with friends. However, this one is for four players, and things can get much more environmentally destructive, explosive, and ragdolly. Levels are death traps for you and your friends to traverse. Weapons are rare, so pummeling your buddies with fists and kicks is a crucial skill to master. It’s pure local or online multiplayer chaos in a jampacked death trap arena where anything goes.

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is probably one of the most famous or infamous Landfall games, and for good reason. While it’s not a multiplayer game, it’s a beautiful sandbox experience where you simulate battles under ludicrous conditions and with even more bizarre unit combinations. You can pit together medieval cavalries against wild west gunslinging sharpshooters. Vikings can fight angelic beings. A horde of thousands of chickens can break the vanguard of prehistoric Mammoth beasts.

The best part is that you can even create your own custom units. Possibilities are endless, and you can grab some popcorn and enjoy watching the madness with friends as you set up increasingly weirder through entertaining scenarios.

That’s it for my favorite games from the Content Warning developers. All of these are available right now on Steam with active communities, and they’re frequently on sale. That said, if you’re looking for more Content Warning articles, check out the funniest character customization options and how to add more than four players to your lobby.
