It wouldn’t be another year in Fortnite without the annual Star Wars event. It’s returning, just in time for Star Wars Day, but this time, it will be in more than just the Battle Royale modes. Here are all the details we have so far!
Fortnite has a Star Wars event every year. Lightsabers go down around the map with Force powers to utilize alongside them. It’s back again this year, just in time for the special Star Wars day, May 4th. However, this time, rather than just be in Battle Royale, Epic Games’ teaser trailer suggests it will also extend to other game modes like LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival.
With the extension of the collab to other game modes, we can expect Star Wars goodies for them all. That includes some Jam Tracks straight from the Cantina for Fortnite Festival. And perhaps the usual lightsabers in LEGO versions. Of course, we can always expect some Star Wars characters to be available in the shop, which will likely be usable in all modes.
Reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX let us in on a few leaks for the event on X. They spilled that there will be a Mythic Wookie Bowcaster weapon, Lightsabers, Force Powers, and possibly two skins we haven’t seen before—Rebel Leia and Chewbacca. They also said there will be much more alongside these, so we’ll have to wait and see for ourselves once the event kicks off.
This Star Wars collab is bound to be a whole-week or multiple-week event with quests and rewards to collect as well, so you won’t want to miss out on it. Stay tuned for more details as the date approaches.
