Italian developer Milestone recently announced their highly anticipated motorcycle video game, Ride, is on the starting grid for the spring of 2015. Watch the announcement trailer above. Racers get to experience the thrill and excitement of riding over 100 motorcycles across city, country, and historic courses. In the words of Milestone Director of Marketing and Sales Marco Micallef:
“After more than 15 years of hard work, we felt the need to develop something that would bring together all our expertise and encapsulate the Milestone DNA with respect to the world of motorcycling. With RIDE, we’re confident that players and motorcycle enthusiasts the world over will feel the irresistible urge, pad clutched in hands, perched on the edge of the sofa, to physically lean into those corners as they speed along the tracks.”
Ride is playable on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4, and PC. They have promised an amazing variety of gameplay options and the ability to customize a bike to unprecedented levels. Milestone expects Ride to revolutionize the way we play motorcycle video games, and considering their history, one might be foolish to argue.
This Italian developer is known for creating outstanding and entertaining video games dedicated to the world of motorcycling. Their popular and fun motorcycle video games include the SBK Superbike World Championship, MotoGP, MXGP (the official Motocross videogame) and FIA World Rally Championship.
Ride is in development in the Milestone Studio over in Europe. Check out the trailer and the work done so far on Facebook and the official YouTube channel dedicated to the video game.
