There are so many great mods out there for Sims 4, but the best part of CC for me is the endless clothing options that allow your Sims to become someone entirely new. These realistic and stylish designs are must-haves for your Sims, so try them out for yourself!
10 Must-Have Clothes Mods for Sims 4
While the game packs and expansions add a lot of clothes to your CAS menu, they don’t have the same variety and potential that CC can offer. If you’re looking for the most aesthetic and realistic clothing, these are some of the best Tumblr CC and Patreon choices for you to get started.
Winter Essentials
If you have the Seasons expansion, you’ll need clothes for every season. Of course, you don’t have to sacrifice your style just because of the change in weather. These Winter Essentials will make your sim look dressed for the season while also staying trendy. Take your pick of fuzzy hats, warm scarfs, and pretty snow boots.
Divine Veil
If you’re planning a grand wedding for your love-bird sims, you’ll need the perfect wedding dress for the special occasion. These Divine Veil dresses by Madlen are some of the most luxurious and detailed dresses I’ve seen. Plus, they come in multiple color options if you want to change things up from classic white.
Coastal Infant
Growing your Sims family? You’ll want some Infant CC options. These Coastal Infant sets will make your infant stand out with clean, stylish designs that are fit for a coastal getaway. Choose from adorable mini sun hats or hair bows, cozy jackets, and playful dungarees.
Office Siren
These Office Siren fits are prime for the busy working woman. They include realistic formal pieces like button-up shirts, skirts, dresses, and heels that make your sim fit that office setting. Whether they are in a business career or not, they’ll give an air of elegance and sophistication.
Dark Academia
The Dark Academia set features knee-high socks, plaid skirts, miniskirts, and just enough turtlenecks and sweaters for a school-like look with a trendy twist. My favorite part of the look is the Doc Marten-esque boots, which are the cherry on top of these outfits.
First Love Collection
Dressing our male sims is probably one of the hardest challenges in creating attractive sims. However, your sim guys can look like true K-pop stars with the right clothing options. The First Love sets are that exact solution to a tee, with lots of options, both academic and casual.
Street Style
Hitting the streets? Your sims can catch everyone’s eye with these Street Style outfits. Mix and match sweaters, dresses, crop tops, jackets, and more to create a look you can dig. They’re all super aesthetic, with a focus on neutral colors, so you can match them with anything and everything.
Layered Sweatshirts
If you’re looking for more guy outfits, these Layered Sweatshirts are some of my favorites that I definitely recommend. Not only do they look realistic, but they come in multiple patterns and colors, from fun graphics to aesthetic logos. They look good for almost every occasion, whether going to sleep or heading to a party.
Bloody Mary
The Bloody Mary collection is slightly different from the usual aesthetic of neutral-colored outfits. It is for the more alternative-styled sims who prefer darker and bolder designs. Take your pick of mini-dresses, ripped stockings, or sheer tops, all themed for a Grunge or Punk lifestyle.
Serenity – Hazelnut
If you have the Horse Ranch pack, the Serenity collection is your best clothing choice. It is dripping with Western, desert-like flair, from cowboy hats and boots to riding pants. If your sim’s going to be riding a horse often, they might as well be dressed for the part as well.
These are just a few of our favorite, must-have clothing options. Try them out for yourself by downloading them for free via the links on Tumblr and their connecting pages. Mix and match your new pieces to create a look your really love.
