Not only will you find Imperial Roadblocks in Fortnite, but you’ll also confront the Stormtroopers in LEGO Fortnite as well. Empire Bunkers and outposts can hold some great loot, but you’ll need code clearance to get inside. Here’s how to get clearance and enter these bunkers around the map.
How to Unlock Empire Bunkers in LEGO Fortnite
You can find Imperial Bunkers around the world the same way you find the Rebel Outposts, using the Macrobinoculars once you enter the first Rebel cave. You can go to fight to these bunkers to fight off the Empire or collect some good loot during the Star Wars event.
However, when you approach the entrance to these bunkers, you’ll be met with a message that states, “Requires Code Clearance.” There are only two ways to access the Empire Bunkers: upgrade the Rebel Outpost to level 6 or use a Lightsaber. We’ll help you figure out how to do either option so you can gain access to these locations.
How to Upgrade the Rebel Outpost
One way to gain access to the Empire Bunkers is to upgrade the Rebel Outpost to level 6 and gain the official task of investigating the bunkers. At this point, you’ll have gained the codes from Captain Bravara. To upgrade the Rebel Outpost, you’ll need to venture to it through the Rebel cave using the Macrobinoculars.
Once there, interact with the Village Square in the middle of the camp. Just like leveling up your own outposts, you’ll need to complete several waves of tasks and have the right materials to level up. Here are all the steps you’ll need to complete:

Once you reach level 6, speak to Captain Bravara, and she will not only give you the access code to the Bunkers but give you a Lightsaber.
How to Get Lightsabers
The other way you can get into the Imperial Bunkers is to use a Lightsaber. You can get a Lightsaber by upgrading the Rebel Outpost to level 6, or you may get lucky and find one before that.
There are some Imperial camps and outposts around the map that don’t require access codes and also contain Imperial Chests. Searching these drops a bunch of great loot, and you may end up finding a Lightsaber ahead of time.
Once you have a Lightsaber, you can take it to the nearest bunker and, rather than using a code to open the door, slice through just using the Lightsaber alone. Keep swinging at the door, and it will eventually break.
Don’t worry if your Lightsaber gets a little damaged by breaking through the door of the bunker. Inside, you’ll find a very special Imperial Chest that drops a ton of high-rarity Star Wars loot, including a new Lightsaber. It’s better to use the codes to open the door if you choose the route of upgrading the Rebel Outpost; that way, your Lightsaber won’t get damaged at all. Either way, come prepared to fight, though, there will be lots of Stormtroopers guarding the way through.
