Some new information on Bandai Namco Games’ new title, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, has just released. On Sunday, the game’s official site began streaming its third promotional video and the site now has full of information on the game.
This video gives hints of dialogue from the game’s story as well as some of the new mechanics, like calling another character for help. The site also gave descriptions for new character additions like Caesar Clown, Batholomew Kuma, and Blackbeard, and for new locations like Impel Down, Marineford, and Oris Plaza.
In addition to this, V Jump‘s YouTube channel streamed a 10-minute long video of the game. In this, the game’s producers control the character Tashigi and show off some of those new mechanics.
This is the third game of the Pirate Warriors series, all based on the popular manga and anime series One Piece. The franchise follows Monkey D. Luffy through his and his crew’s adventures to find the ultimate (titular) One Piece treasure. The game follows Luffy from the beginning of the Dressrosa arc, as he tries to take down the king of Dressrosa and Warlord of the Sea, Donquixote Doflamingo, and his crew of pirates.
In previous teasers, Bandai Namco Games released gameplay for a multitude of characters, as well as teasers for different locations in the story.
The game is to be released on March 26 in Japan, on PlayStation 3, 4, and Vita, and PC (via Steam). No date for the Steam release has been set, though. The game comes to North America and Europe in summer 2015.
